Brandon Munley is best know for integrating abstract washes with detailed line work, creating art that borders a distorted realism with either a dark or comical twist. Using predominately gouache, pencil and ink, he also enjoys painting with acrylic, oil, spray paint, coffee, wine and occasionally beet juice.
Self-taught from San Francisco, Brandon has spent the last 15 years displaying his work in various venues from galleries to local cafes and restaurants throughout the Bay Area. Brandon has recently made Long Beach his new home. Current projects include a show in Traverse City, MI and a publishing contract to turn a poem he wrote into a graphic novel.
