Collection: LaJon Miller
Based out of Long Beach, LaJon Miller is an artist who’s been drawing since hewas four years old. He would sit in front of his television and drawscenes from old Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, and Popeye cartoons. He was around the age of ten when he realized how much he lovedgetting lost in his own world creating characters or scenes from hishead. Life eventually led him to get a 3D Animation degree. He thenreceived formal art training from an old watercolor and oil paintingmaster in Glendale CA. Later on, He taught himself how to use themore modern mediums such as acrylic and spray paint.
LaJon is a fan of the old masters like Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Monet, CharlesBargue as well as pop culture masters like Dali, graffiti artists likeJustin Bua and comic book illustrating masters such as Alex Ross, ToddMcFarlane, J. Scott Campbell, Rob Liefeld, Jack Kirby and AkiraToriyama.
On many creative expressions, LaJon likes to work with texture and vibrantcolor. To see something coming out from the canvas is very inviting tohim. He tends to work with acrylic and watercolor mediums because theydry quicker. Often times he finds himself exploring and mixing differentpaint mediums, crossing over from spray paint into acrylics. As well ascombining watercolor, ink and acrylic paint.
